Is it possible to get an FAA pilot licence in Mexico?

I hold an FAA private pilot license with instrument rating. I am Mexican. I want now to get the commercial license with multi-engine. Can I do the course somewhere in Mexico or must I do it in the US?

You can't get a FAA license in Mexico. But You can take a course in private school and get a similar license. So far SCT civil aeronautic division is the only government office in charge of that.

Keep in mind. FAA license is better than Mexican.
