Is it possible to get an american passport in 2 weeks or less?

and if so, how much would you think it would cost rushing included?

If you are near the east coast and can get to Washington DC, it is possible to have a passport "walked through".  I did it about 10 years ago.  Call the passport office in DC to inquire.  After 9/11 much has changed though.

I got my passport in 2 weeks without expediting it.  Apparently it doesn't happen often.  You should have planned ahead better.

Yes,  You have to pay for the expediting it.

It will cost you $60 dollars on top of your fees to renew or apply for a passport.

I think the rush fee is something like $10, but I doubt you'll get it that quickly.  Not if it's the first time.  If it's a renewal, you might get lucky.

I had mine expedited and it cost total 185 usd.. which included the postage etc for express mail  it to the service center.
