Is it possible to get black hair this white?

my hair is black (very dark brown)

is it possible to bleach it until it gets to this colour

Go to a salon.

Please search in the top green bar "bleached hair gone wrong"

trust me there will be thousands. even if you had lighter colour hair, id recommend you go to a salon. When bleaching hair, the blonde usually tends to be brassy. your hairdresser will then be able to fix it to be white. This may take up to three appointments and will be pretty pricey.

It would be a good idea to phone your salon and discuss the possibility of doing this, prices, duration and damage to the hair.

you may want them to do it gradually. Get them to dye it a lighter brown then keep that for a couple of weeks, then go back and get up to a light brown/dark blonde then blonde, then white. each time keeping it that colour for a few weeks,

I'm assuming you have dark skin, given your icon. That would look absolutely gorgeous - just about every character I've ever made up for short stories and that sort of thing have had really dark skin and pure white hair. I thought I was the only person in the world who thought that was really good looking.

Sadly, it really isn't possible. Your hair would become so over-processed by the time you got to platinum blonde, and would likely begin to come out. I'm not really sure what kind of pigments they would use to get it white, though they could probably get it a nice, healthy-looking golden blonde (and not orangey at all). You would need to go to a salon to have it done or else you would run a serious risk of losing your hair with all the chemicals you'd have to put in it.

So, I think it's impossible, but you should go to a really good local salon and ask their best colorist about it. You might be able to get something close.

That photo is photoshopped heaps anyway (I have used photoshop to make hair look like that before), I would be suprised if anybody could ever get their hair that white in real life - it is pretty much impossible.

You could not get your hair that white if it is dark brown / black at the moment. And the bleach would ruin you hair - it would get too dry and eventually fall out. Sorry.

Your hair would still look good with other colours too, good luck!! =]

no its not possible at ur hair if try to do it its gonna take u very long and have to repeat many time  to get this color but u gonna really damage ur hair but can't get the exactly this  color. go to salon do strand test

yes it is..if it does not work out then wait till you get old..hehehe..ye...get you hair black then colour it white..but the colour mit B hard to find....

but u can't do it..by granny coloured her haril to different colours then changed...i helped for her...cause he wanted to luk old....cause people thinks she colours her hair but it was natural black and never changed to gray

howveer unfortunately i think she is wearing a wig.  

even if you are naturally blonde i still think it isnt possible.

i tried to get that colour once, because i love anime,and my hair is the same as yours because I am Asian, and i mangaed to get it bleach very far but it went colourless/grey a very strange colour! i used white toner and it did nothing.

i recomned a wig too

NEVER happening. its almost rare to even get it blond more less platnium blond.

plus, im pretty sure thats a wig.

go to a salon. there, have them do a strip test (only a small strand) to see if your hair will even get that light which i highly doubt. this will help because you wont have the rick of having your whole head look like a burning sun
