I've tried scrubbing with hot water but that didn't work. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

  1. i have done this before, i ask my husband to try to break it off  he still cant so i take the pan to the garbage and buy another.

  2. I've done this!   Try this - - squeeze some dish detergent directly on the affected area, add about 1 inch of water then bring just to a boil, lower heat immediately and just let simmer for about 20 minutes.   Add a little water occasionally to maintain about 1" just to keep from  drying out.   It's a pain to have to keep an eye on it, but the process really works if you want to save that pan.   BTW,  this works on anything over-cooked in your pots/pans.

  3. When I have a mess like this. I put alot of water in the pan and slowly heat it again. It should start to dissolve then get  it off the stove and under hot water and soap.
