  1. You'll probably won't drop 1.5 seconds that's really hard. It's really hard to improve when you can run that fast. Never give up it's possible but very unlikely. Gets your legs strong and that will help you. Maybe get some endurance so that you don't ware out the last 20-30 meters. Good Luck!

  2. Depends on your age and training you have been doing and will do in the next year.

Dropping 1 1/2 seconds is a big improvement.

Lift weights, do plyometrics, practice starts, running techniques, will all help.

Remember that the better you get the harder it is to make big improvements.

  3. It is totaly possible 1 year is a long time and if you train every day it could be lower. I'm a distance runner but i know many sprinters on my track team many dropped about .5 secs to 1 sec in just one season. theirs was one guy he was great pushed it his all every day at practice dropped from a 12.04 to a 10.98

  4. anything is possible.  but you hafta work hard for it.  one year is a lot of time so it IS do-able.  you should run everyday [give yourself sprint workouts]

    ex. 400meter breakdown or

    four 100meters, two 200meters, one 300meter or

eight 200meters, one 400meter and etc. mix it up a little

just because you think "oh i have four of these, i'll try hard on the last one" you won't get anywhere if you think like that. you gotta push yourself so you can build stamina. [mind over matter if you think you can don't it, you can. if you doubt yourself, its game over]

train hard and i've learned [from experience] that if you take fewer breaths [take one and hold it for like three seconds] you might find that you run a bit faster since you're not using up as much energy breathing [panicking or anxiety or whatever]

i hope this helped the least bit

  5. The way to do it is DON'T TAKE TIME OFF. Most runners aren't disciplined enough in the off season.

    Good luck!
