  1. It absolutely is possible. With literally millions of scholarships available, you can apply to as many as you like.

You can also apply for grants, which are also free sources of money that you don't have to pay back.

You can read about grants here:

Here are sites that offer grants:

    Hope this helps!

  2. It is DEFINITELY possible. And I'm going to say this, if your coming out of high school with a 3.7 or higher, then look out, because some people WANT to pay for your college education, lol. But even if you don't  there are so many scholarships out there its ridiculous. If you put in the time and effort to find them and apply, then your education is as good as paid for. The actual process of finding them and applying isn't the easiest though, so be prepared to do some work.

  3. yes

  4. Sure, if your school guidance counselor cannot help, check with your teachers. You can go on line but that is so iffy because there are dishonest people who try to take advantage of you. The biggest tip is not to pay for anything without researching to find if the agency is reputable. Student loans are great. There are certain businesses and professionals who will help pay for college if you stay a certain time with them. of course the Armed Services is free but you have to join the U.S.Reserve and will probably have to go to war first.

  5. Oh yes, look around and talk to your high school and/or university. I was able to pay for my freshmen year straight from scholarships (no loans). A lot of programs offer to pay partial or even ALL of your tuition. So it is possible!

  6. Absolutely!  If you have good grades or experience, you can chop a HUGE amount off of the fees.  I didn't go, but with my cooking experience I managed to get a $40,000 year cooking school down to $8,000 with multiple programs.  I was broke at the time, so that helped. :-)  Low income, experience and grades can all help.

Here are a couple of links to guides.  Perhaps one of those will help you.  Financial aid at the school may know of more options too.
