Is it possible to get eyesight back?

Hey there, Today i noticed my eyesight was off, Usually i can see my TV from 20 feet away, but now i can't read the subtitles, and it's a slight bit blurry

  1. maybe there was a change of environment that happened to your eyes (like playing outdoors in the afternoon and going back in the house). thats normal, the eye will adapt sooner or later.


  2. Try looking through a pinhole--about 1 mm diameter is not too large- if the images are sharp, you have a refractive error, need glasses.  If there is no change, you need to see an Ophthamologist. Lots of diseases that can change your vision suddenly.  One of the most common is Diabetes.  But there is a handful of other diseases of the optic nerve, retina, cornea, and even the lens that can change your vision.  

  3. Today? Your question made it sound like is it possible to get your eyesight back after a certain injury or illness. If you're noticing that your eyesight is beginning to diminish (beyond today), then that obviously is concerning and it is best to see your doctor.

  4. consult ophthalmologist immediately
