Is it possible to get free digital to my pc.if so how?

I think you're referring to Freeview Digital in the UK? If so you can do it by taking the output from the Freeview box and taking it into the PC instead of (as well as) the TV. To do that you'll need an analogue TV capture card and you'll be stuck with recording what you're watching only probably. You'll have to sort out cables too...depending on what connections you have on the box, but converting from Scart to RCA (phono) connectors is no problem. Basically you'll be using your PC as a TV. If you have problems with the connectors, try putting the VCR in the line as they have multiple connection ports normally and take the scart out from there to the TV. I did it for my mother to record a program to her laptop and it was fine.
