Hello, I will be travelling in May and my flight arrives in Milan, Malpensa at 1040. I have reserved a train that leaves Centrale station at 1421. If i take the train, it reaches Cadorna station. Can you tell me if I will be able to get onto my train on time? Thank you very much.

  1. The previous answer is correct in that there are buses that will get you to the Central station in under 3 and a half hours and also that the train will get you there on time. It usually takes about an hour but can be a bit longer depending on traffic conditions (for example, during rush hour). You won't be at the peak of rush hour though.

If you take the train to the Cadorna station, you can catch a cab or take the metro to the Central station. It's a 20 to 30 minute walk, so you shouldn't have any trouble taking the train either. Given the transfer time between Cadorna and Central Station, the total transit time is about the same for the train of the bus at the time of day you're going in.

I've done both, but always just take the bus now. I don't have a specific train that I'm trying to meet though. I just take the next available train to Verona and then home.

  2. Hello!

    Yes it's possible!!

You can take in the airport a taxi (80€ i think), a train in the airport or a bus (the name of this is Malpensa Shuttle and tou pay max 10€). The Shuttle give the people every half hours.

The airport is near Cadorna, isn't far, and whitout big traffic in your hours... in half/one hours you are in the station!

I whish to you one great travel, and contact me for other informations!
