Is it possible to get hold of replacment bottom bracket lockrings?

Looking at my bicycle collection, I realise that I have more bottom brackets than I do lockrings for them. Is it possible to get replacements?

The bike shops should be able to get them for you.

On average there are 3 or 4 bikes at my local council tip at weekends. Try cannibalising them.

It is certainly possible, but for your bikes it would probably be better to find old bikes at boot sales and cannibalize a few. As you have probably discovered, they are no longer made.

Perhaps a couple of those old London or Leeds shops may have some...
