Question:

Is it possible to get my hair back to it's natural colour without dying???

My natural hair colour is a golden mid/light blonde colour but i lightened it to light ash blonde. Like most natural blondes my roots were always darker for some reason but the rest of my hair light, and now the contrast between my light colour and my roots looks totally fake and like a typical brunette turned blonde.

Can I get it back to normal somehow???

  1. dont use coulorr saving shampoo & wait

  2. go to a hair salon and get the color stripped. its a little costly procedure but if you dont want to wait to grow it out or redye it, its always an option

  3. You have 2 options-wait and let it grow out or put a colour on it.

But! It doesn't have to be a permanent colour, you can use a semi permanent which normally is very good for your hair and will make it glossy and shiny and healthy looking again.  As your hair is lightened the semi will grab and last a pretty long time(especially if you used bleach).  My best advice is to go to a hairdresser and ask for a semi colour to be put on.  Apart from that just keep it as healthy as possible, eat right and wait for it to grow, hun.

  4. Without dying it, NO.  You have to let it grow out and keep getting it trimmed.  But there is no way but to dye it brunette and you will not see the roots.  It is easy to darken hair then to lighten it.

  5. Yes you can,but you are going to have to be patient. If you leave it to grow and just cut it for maintanence you will eventualy have your normal hair colour, your hair grows about half inch every 6or7 months

  6. Yes I think you can get it back to normal if you dye it a color that is almost like your natural hair. I know you don't want to dye your hair but if you dye it to a color that is close to you natural hair then you can let your hair grow out and just keep on cutting it till all the dye is gone. It will take a while but it can happen.

  7. My great Auntie swore on her mothers grave that filling your handbasin with 'Jif' and sort of swishing your hair round in it worked a treat! I've never done it, I just dye my hair again!
