Is it possible to get my ignition control module checked to see if it is bad or not?

I'm trying to track down the nature of my car troubles. I need to get as many things checked as possible to cut down cost and prevent unnessary car repairs

some modules can be ohmed out others require to be checked on the vehicle.All-data has procedures to properly diagnose the part.If no access to all data try a chilton manual.

advance auto parts has a machine that can test just the ignition module to see if is good or not. take it offthe car and have it checked and if it's bad you will already have the old one with you to compare to the new one to ensure they give you the right part
