Is it possible to get on internet with win 95?

my brother has an old laptop,it has a floppy,no disk drive or anything lk tht i was thinking bout geting him linux,but since tht would be extremly hard i asked him about it.and he just wants to be able to get on internet.its an old ibm laptop (1996-1998) not really sure.but would it be able to plug in a ethernet cable and get internet?

while it can get onto the internet it may not be able to display certain web sites. various plugins that enable multimedia content on websites may not have a version for win95. also no security updates are available for that version so the computer may be easily compromised.

yea you should be able to get internet it's a laptop it just has an older version of windows...my old ibm computer has internet...just make sure you have your router so you can get wireless connection but i think if you plugged it in the ethernet you should be set
