  1. I think cranberry juice helps... and i think yogurt.. but thats all i know of.

  2. You don't take the medication (it isn't oral!), you use the medication and no I don't think it will go away on it's own!

  3. Yes, use dilute cider vinegar - one teaspoon to a pint.  Put a tampon in it and use in the normal way. Also dab around the outside with some of the liquid. Do this for a few days.

There are other alternatives, too, I think using bicarbonate of soda.

Yoghurt is also supposed to help, but I never found it any use.

  4. well im not really sure but ive heard eating yogurt, drinking lots of water, soaking in baths and cleaing "down there", and not wearing underwear at night to help air circulate really helps to make it go away! also ive heard that your period can make it go away too?

  5. yes, you can eat a lot of yogurt or make a yogurt-sicle, which is what I do. you buy unflavored *this is really important, like the kind that is at the top of fruit on the bottom, totally plain yogurt* and fill it into a tampon applicator, then freeze it in the freezer. when it's frozen, you know what to do. the cold helps with the itching and the yogurt has enzymes that kill the yeast.

  6. eww you have one yuck

  7. Yes but it can be uncomfortable and lengthy. Avoid overly sugary foods and drink lots of water. Keep that area clean and dry, wear cotton underwear to allow air circulation. Cranberry juice (make sure its 100% juice!) and raspberry tea can help but mostly it depends on the aforementioned advice. Treat a yeast infection like you would a fungus- cut off excess heat, moisture and sugar for it to feed on and it should die out. I know that sounds gross but thats essentially what it is. Good luck!

  8. not really. eat a lot of yoghurts and this may help. but it will be slow

  9. Factors that may disturb the v****a's balance include

    Antibiotic treatments

    Oral contraceptives

Hot weather or non-ventilating clothing, which increase moisture and warmth, fostering fungal growth

Repeated intercourse over a short period of time

    Stress

    Suppressed immune system (including HIV)

High carbohydrate intake, especially refined sugars and alcohol

    Pregnancy

    Diabetes

Other causes can be irritants such as soaps, powders, new detergents and other product

You can get over a yeast infection with no meds but it can take a while its best to get some over the counter cream

  10. I don't believe so.  Just buy monistat its OTC and cheap.

  11. yes...most of the time its better to do it naturally anyway...and it's funny the kid who said "ewww yuk" little does he know that he has yeast in him too, just waiting to be triggered by something! lol...everyone has yeast in there body, it's not a big deal, eat yogurt A LOT and go get some live antibodies, in the vitamin section in any cvs or walgreens...

  12. To be honest no.
