Is it possible to get rid of a hickie???

I have one in my neck... it looks almost purple, so i was wondering if there was a way to get rid of them???

only thing is try covering it up with make up , or other wise if you wanted to look silly and wear a band aid over it,,, it's going to be there a couple of days..

Absolutely....keep people's lips off your neck!  

Otherwise, that nasty purple bruise, caused by broken capillaries leaking blood, will remain there several days until it heals.

not really, they do go away naturally in a few days

its broken blood vessel and sometimes slight bruising that causes them

I had to wear a turtleneck to work when it was 95 degrees out

If you can sneak some concealer or makeup from a sister/mother/girlfriend that helps cover it too

Ice will speed it a bit and use moisturizer or neosporin a couple times  a day this will keep the area clean and moisturized will heals faster than dry skin

last resort a band-aid and say it was a bad shaving nick
