Is it possible to get too dependant on your glasses?

I'm short sighted and recently had to get a stronger pair of glasses because my vision got worse, I need them for reading long distances and driving but I think I look good in them and I love it how everything is so much clearer at a distance. If I was to wear them near all the time would my vision be affected at all?

I don't think it would make your vision worse but you may get used to wearing them. So if you don't mind feeling that you need to wear them then do it. My friend got contacts but said she got used to wearing them and now can't do without them. But she sees okay so I guess she's happy.
