Is it possible to get your period a week EARLY!?

I woke up today and noticed spots on my underwear. They didn't go all the way through. I'm supposed to get my period in another week(if it's on time that is) so I'm wondering what all this could mean.

Yes, it is VERY possible. I have an irregular cycle and it starts and random times too.

no big deal, normal periods last around 30 days, but for some people it's 20 to 40 days per cycle. and periods that come 1 week before or 1 week after your normal cycle is consider in the normal range. otherwise, u might have spotting (light bleeding between periods). it's cause by slight tearing of the vaginal wall, during intercourse or it might be due to hormonal imbalance (eg, during stress) that cause a little blood to leak out. nothing to worry about

It happens from time to time. When I was i my 30's I never knew when it was coming.  Its not always just like clockwork.   Luckily,most of the time it is.

I much prefer the early as opposed to the few days late.

That always scared the heebie jeebies out of me.

I really don't think it's a problem at all, sometimes periods just get a little irregular. It could be from anything, maybe you changed the types or amounts of food you ate. You should ask a doctor if you're really worried, but in my opinion you're fine.
