I know if you join the Guard you are typically a "weekend warrior", would you be able to transfer into making the military a full time career by joining the Air Force?

  1. I have no idea what you are asking. You are either in the Air Guard or your not. And you are either enlisted or an officer. Where is the question.

  2. I don't see why not.  People do it in the Army National Guard all the time.  They'll enlist in the Guard, go through Basic and AIT, and then decide they want to go active duty, so they just submit their active duty packet (i guess that's what its called) and just wait a while and you should get accepted.  I'm not sure if the Air Guard/Air Force works the same way, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

  3. Do you mean "Active Duty"?  or are you in Officer in the ANG and want to enlist in the army?

  4. I can't imagine if you were an officer in the Air National Guard that they would let you enlist in the Air Force. You can go enlisted to officer, but I doubt you can go officer to enlisted.

  5. sure, the military is always a good place to start a career.

  6. Is going 'enlisted side' something like 'sewer side' as in a 'sewer side' bomber?

You can go to whichever 'side' you are eligible to go.
