Astral traveling?  Sounds like a fancy term for hypnotic regression to me. And there's a fine grey line seperating the two.  I believe one can fully replay past life experiences under hypnotic regression; the evidence is there---and I've even did some research for a regress subject......and found some pretty startling facts!!

I believe in past lives and astral travel, but I don't know whether the two are (or can be) connected. But I think they could be. I agree with Mr. Wizard and think you should try regression therapy first. Also, you could ask yourself some questions like "how do I feel about the Romans? the Middle Ages," etc. Try to see what emotions you get when you focus on certain places and times. That may help you define your past lives a little more. Good luck!

astral traveling is a side effect of a OBE (out of body experiance) it has nothing to do with seeing a past life, and trust me seeing your past lives isnt always pleasent enjoy this one, because life is too short

Even if it was how would you remember it since between the last life and this one you would have no brain to store your thoughts and memories in.

I think 'past life regression' is simply your current (and only ever) brain that you have being very inventive and creative. If a person can write a wonderfully detailed and believable novel I can't see that the same creative forces can't be used to invent a previous life.

1)  No one has EVER been able to prove that astral traveling isn't dreaming or wishful thinking.  And it would be VERY easy to prove - this guy would even give them a million bucks for a quick demo.  http://www.randi.org  Why hasn't anyone taken him up on it?  Because they can't do it.

2)  If we did have past lives, we don't know about it.  No one who's gone under past life regression therapy has been able to prove they were someone else - say, by suddenly being able to speak another language or have a skill they didn't have before - like calculus.  It's just their imagination and that of their shrink running away with them.  There's tons of stuff out there about how it's very easy to plant false memories in people - that's most likely what's happening here.
