Is it possible to go to california and study ?

im 16 and would like to do a llb law degree when i finish my alevels but i would love to go to america - calfornia to study and to become my own person but is it possible for me to go there for university and study llb law for 3-4 years and will it be a degree that is useful in england

  1. Unfortunately that is not possible.

    In the United States, law is a postgraduate program, meaning that you need to hold a bachelors degree or equivilent to even apply to law schools.

    Regardless of what the person above said, A-levels are not the same or even equivilents of the SAT.

    You bascially have two choices, study for your first degree in the U.K. and then apply to law schools in the States or complete all of your studies in the States and then apply to law schools.

    Either way you need a bachelors or equivilent.


  2. If you have your A level result, it should be the same as the SAT requirement for all 4 year universities in USA.  Why don't you go to a community college for 2 years and transfer to a 4 year university to complete your last 2 years and get your law degree in a much cheaper and faster way??
