Is it possible to go to from London to Brighton by train for £1 (child ticket) ?!!?

I found this site that is selling tickets to go Brighton from London by train for just £1, I want to know if this site is secure and if I can trust it.

My boyfriend moved there and I cant pay £15 everyweek to see him!

The site is shown as 'safe' by Norton so i see no reason not to use it. Cheapest I could find, however, using the site below, assuming you are under 15, is £8 return. I could not find a £1 ticket on the Southern site either - other than the offer that couples with a £10 day ticket which covers up to 4 adults, additional children at £1 which is what I think direct rail is referring to.
