  1. this can be done with 2 players that i know of

    1) nero showtime

    which comes included with nero burning software

    what you do is you pause the video, rightclick the pic and click on save image

    2)the vlc media player can do this too ( i use this a lot) same thing you pause the frame you want to capture then rightclick the screen and select save screenshot // and you can set it to your own destination folder within the preference settings // video

    with nero showtime i think you get a png file not jpg/// but with the vlc media player you can set it to jpg output file i'm sure


  2. I don't know what OS you're running, but almost all OS's have a screen-cap feature.  Just google it.  It should work for almost anything, even playing movies, although you'll probably have to crop the image afterwards, which can be done in "paint" (on windows" or "preview" (on mac).

  3. If Print Screen doesn't work, you can use a program called Snapit which will work. Just look it up on Google and download a free trial.

  4. If I'm not mistaken, Windows Movie Maker will do this if you open the video as a project there, you can go through the video frame-by-frame and save the screen cap as a picture.
