  1. I'm just going to assume that this is a joke...

  2. i guess you could try but i think you would lose, when they reach 18. lol

    <><

  3. nope not possible. after your 18 theirs nothing they can do. they could ground you till your 18 then like take you out of the will and stuff, and not talk to you, but they cant groud you forever.

  4. uhm actually when they turn 18 a parent cant control them anymore.

  5. once you move out, they cant control you and most people wouldnt stay if thats how their lives would be so i doubt it would happen.

  6. No.  It is not possible.  It is cruel but not possible.  Of course, what you described has already happend to many of us. Only we don't know it.

  7. No.

    There's this thing called adulthood.

    18+

  8. um , i dont think so but remember, even if there 18 and they think they're all grown up, they would go to prison but they are tried as an adult.

  9. Sure if you plan to support them and pay their way their whole lives why not.

After they are 18 they can do whatever they want.  You can be accused of imprisonment.

    Thank you and good day.

  10. I'm sure plenty of parents wish they could have their children under their control for that long, but once that kid turns 18 they can do pretty much whatever they want!! hahaha

  11. of course not lady .

when the kid hits 18 he or she is gone.

not exactly clicking his heels out the door but he will get the

idea to leave from maybe one of their friends.

  12. oh sure, its possible, dont expect them to listen though, and when your dead, i hope you dont want any fancy funeral

  13. I don't see how that would be possible. As soon as the kid turns 18 they are legally an adult. Especially if the child moved out or went away to school - legally the parents can't really do anything to make the child stay home and be grounded. And legally, the parents can't keep the child from moving out or going to college once they are 18.

What kind of parent would want to do that anyway? Keeping your child grounded for that long would be horrible not only for the child but for the parents too. No grandchildren. No one to help take care of them as they age because the kid doesn't have a job and can't leave the house. Plus it would be a strain on the parent's finances.

  14. Depends on what exactly you did to get grounded.  I have only heard of it once, and the kid was grounded until he was 18 because he drove his parents car into a creek and almost drownd him and his little brother. He was just starting to drive with a learner permit I think so he was really grounded for a while.   Maybe it was just driving.  I don't know.

  15. You could, but enforcing a grounding from the grave has its difficulties. This is a perfect question for Dr. Phil.

  16. Its not because they are free from under your roof at age 18. So if you did,it still wouldn't last forever

  17. not really... you'll die before they do... and then who will keep authority over them? You may even die by their hands if your not careful...

  18. It's only gonna last till he turns 18, that's when he grows independent...

Unless you don't tell him that.... keep him ignorant and never let him see the light of day!!!

  19. Haha...That's not possible. When your 18 your 18 and you make your own decisions.

  20. No, they can move away when they are eighteen.

  21. No there is no way after your 18 or at least moved put its impossible...plus if your parents love you they wouldn't do it to you

  22. no cuz when ur 18 you can do anything parents cant stop you

  23. No cuz when they're 18 they can leave and the police won't do anything

  24. Of course not, silly. Once you are 18 you can just leave.

  25. No they are legally adults at 18, and can leave home.

You can't completely stop them from having fun, or friends, they make friends at school.

  26. yeah but that would suck why would you do that

  27. Well, sadly years ago parents use to put their children in an institution because of bad behavior or they had a disability.

  28. Sounds like what my mother tried with me in high school. i survived, moved on, graduated and went on with life. I'm now 19 yrs married and we have our our 11 year old girl. Life goes on the the 'forever' grounding did not.

  29. as soon as they are 18 they are not a child. So technically you can ground them for their whole childhood. And if you do this don't expect them to have developed people skills and they will probably end up living with you forever b/c they were never allowed to explore life and leave home to experience anything. Have fun

  30. Well this is a very unwise question. If you move out of their house after the age of 18 than no, but if you live with them it is their rules!

  31. lady i dont think so ever heard of 18 YR OLDS?? ya 18 yr olds  are aloud to do anything too bad =)
