Maybe wrong person is the wrong term - but perhaps a different person than you had thought you would grow up to be when you were a kid?

  1. we all grow up not becoming what we thought we would be .too many for us wait our life not knowing what we want to be,we dont always make the righr choices, but we live by making choices

  2. yes of course because of the environment affecting and the way the person handles him self. but if the person is strong enough, the environment will not be a hinder in becoming what the person wants to be. we dint have control to the environment affecting us but we have control to our selves.

  3. ye

like u culd be abused as a kid and promise yourself that you will NEVER abuse your kids

but wen you grow up, you might be under stress or not know any other way, and then you end up abusing your kids

  4. if at anytime in your life, you don't feel as if you're not who you'd like to have been, it's never too late to change. take a step back and see if who you are is the person who you were meant to be. an ideal self is always a great personally goal but not always attainable if nothing's done about it.

  5. As a child, I was extremely idealistic. I had so many dreams of what I would or could become when I grew up. Then when I did become a grown up, I had absolutely no desire to do any of the things I had dreamt of. I found out that life can be cruel in more ways than one.

In my early 30's, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. All through my 20's, I didn't even realize there was anything wrong with me, other than the fact that I had lost my motivation and dreams. I just thought I was sad because the world wasn't as good as I hoped it would be.

So, yes I believe that it is possible to grow up to be a different person than you had thought as a kid. Never in a million years would I have believed that I was born with a mental illness, and that it would change my life so dramatically. Thank goodness it only affects my emotions and not my intellect. If it did, I sure wouldn't be here anymore.....
