Is it possible to hallucinate while under the influence of Marijuana?

Question

I may or may not have used marijuana as a recreational drug on a few occasions, but any effects that I may or may not have felt would never have been close to producing hallucinations. In movies, marijuana is constantly portrayed as completely "mind-bending" and produces visions and hallucinations often to all who smoke it. I don't believe this is the case in reality, but that also leads me to question why so many movies dealing with drugs protray marijuana in this way. If it is true, then it may simply be a question of quality of product.

I think there are some strains called silly names that may cause hallucinations...like the sticky purple or whatever and if they have the little red balls on the leaves. But no, not typical. Maybe Hollywood is involved with the drug industry and wants us all smoking pot... who knows?

Not unless you are hallucinating that you are hungry and the fridge is really far away.

Just kidding, yes it is possible.  THC has mind altering effects.

I suppose if it was laced with something......I have never heard of people hallucinating while on it.  I guess Hollywood portrays it that way to get the point across that the actors are high.

Yes sir it is, i used to smoke for about 2 1/2 years and i remember one time in the beginning of my smoking i saw my friend laughing in slow-mo and i swear I saw his jaw open like a foot wide! really freakey and NO i wasent under the influence of anything else besides a couple of beers.

Yes, it's a mild hallucinate. But not to the extend of like "that 70's show"

Here's not the best place for facts. Most people act like it can't do anything unless it's laced with PCP or Meth, which is ridiculous.

I have hallucinated when smoked, auditory but still. Also see in slow motion with trails behind cars.

It's more of distortions than like.. seeing things that aren't there.
