  1. Definitely!  One's matured enough (hopefully) after high school, that if/when they decide to go back and teach in high school, that they will understand the reason why he/she had to learn the things he/she did.  It helped him/her in life, and now he/she appreciates it and thus would not view high school as a drag but rather enjoy teaching the skills necessary to succeed.

  2. yeah, you know the talk the teachers have in the beginning of the school year and some of them let students ask the teacher questions to get to know them? well usually they say they HATED going to school and becoming a teacher was not even an option but here they are! :P

  3. I recommend you leave at rest and that no fences because your parents send you, if you do not like Metetí of waiter or cosinero to Pitzer and then if you want to continue studying.

    :-)

  4. Goodness, yes! I absolutely hated everything about going to high school when I had to go sit in a classroom there. Now, I don't mind so much. The kids remind me of my own high school days which all in all, were the best...I just didn't know it then. They keep my mind alert and help me stay 'feeling' youthful.

  5. I did and do.

  6. Of course. It would probably make you a great teacher, as you can understand what the kids are going through.

  7. Oh, yes! I hated going to my high school. I was a nerdette, & the youngest of 3 children who went there. I was forever being compared to my brother and sister, who had been very popular.

I enjoy teaching at the high school level because the kids can think for themselves. They ask so many good questions, and can understand sarcasm.

  8. I suppose it is a question of roles; Teaching and Learning and the roles of Teacher and Learner - they both have jobs to do, don't they, but they are very different. The former is facilitating the achievement of the latter, and the latter is the one whose achievement is being facilitated. This being the case, it is even possible that the fact that you hated going to high school may make you enjoy teaching in high school even more! You would be creating those enjoyable and exciting learning opportunities that you never had, and seeing the joy and excitement of your students' achievements. What could be better, frankly? I say, go for it, and dont look back. Good Luck!
