I am 5'5" and weigh 170 lbs. (waist is I have an excellent body image. When I look in the mirror, I think that I look fine. However, recently people have been hinting that I have been gaining weight. When I look at pictures, I can see myself progressively getting bigger in the pictures, so it's not just looking bad in pictures. But my mirror still looks exactly the same. How is that possible? Can Body Dysmorphic Disorder work in reverse?

P.S. I am working on losing weight in a healthy way with more exercise, fewer calories, and healthier foods in general.

  1. I don't know if it's a disorder and it's not a bad thing to see yourself as attractive and fine no matter your size.  Eating healthy and exercising is great but don't worry too much about it.  If you look in the mirror and are happy, s***w everyone else who sees different.
