yes.  some people do not understand psychics.  our senses are more heightened than others.  they're stronger then all other 5 senses, it's hard to explain what it feels like.

i read people by the energy that comes off them.  when i 'tap' into that energy it shows me a little bit of that persons life.  so i more or less read by emotion (energy). it's kind of like a bell ringing (metaphorically speaking) or when i try to unravel a persons life, it's kind of like i'm shooting cans off a wall.  you know when you've hit the mark, you know when you are bang on.  you just know all these things about a person.  thats the best way i can describe it.

when i have a vision (predict the future) a vision is not like any other dream that other people have, you just know it is different and you just know that you're psychic there is no doubt in your mind. you feel really energized and relaxed   that's is the best way i can describe it.

i discovered i was psychic when i was 10 years old.  some people go psychic when they have a near death experience too.

It hasen't been proved either way but there is more evidence on the side that suggest that there isn't then there is. (More evidence that it's not possible) But who knows?

I personally believe that all people have Psychic abilities of one level or another. Some have an 8 oz cup full others have a 1 gal pitcher full (just an analogy). Some people, when they find out or discover that they have abilities, cultivate them so that they become stronger. While others run from them.

Ultimately, we find that with proper training people can bring one or another psychic ability to the surface and with devotion and study they can become stronger and more accurate or just simply better at their gift.

I don't think so.

Most of the psychics that can read minds or talk to dead people have been exposed as scams. A psychic at a carnival or something usually has a keen eye, and can tell a lot from just seeing the way you dress. For example if you have long/messy hair they might tell you that you're rebellious, lazy, or careless and they'll probably be right to some extent. Psychics have even helped crack cases by the police...but only by trial of error. They call in with hundreds of different clues or tips, and they're bound to be right at least some of the time. Or they might give clues that are so general (such as "I see the number five" or "I see water") that they could apply to any case and be "right". However, these are just the FAKES that have been exposed. It will never be known if psychic powers really exist or not. See the wikipedia link.

Psychic powers aren't to be confused with hypnotism, which is something else entirely.
