  1. if you wanted to go at 250km/h should have done the alice to darwin sprint a few years ago (anytime before 2007), as there was unrestricted speed limit. Oh well too late now.

Max speed limit is 130km/h in the NT.

If you are going to stay in NSW don't expect to legally go above 110km/h unless you go to the speedway.

Maybe when the labor party gets voted out in the NT, the CLP might put back the unrestricted speed limit in the NT, I think your son should relocate lol.

  2. you can probably pay to drive on a racetrack, like Bathurst at whatever speed you like (your insurance won't cover it of course), or you could try the Stuart Highway in N.T. parts of which are speed unlimited.

  3. you are a crazy father or mother allowing your son to drive at that speed.a 250 kph speed is not safe.there no safe on speeding you moron.if you want him to drive at that speed then he should be a F1 driver.but then those F1 driver do makes mistakes on the race track that can injured them and other drivers or worse.we dont encourages high speed in australia.so you are a moron.

  4. max speed in sydney's west is 110 klm's

  5. You must be joking..............

  6. no chance and at that speed he would be charged with dangerous driving and loose his licence and be fined between $700 to $1000 dollars and have the car impounded

okay if you think your son is a excellent driver just let him try to drive at that speed and you will find out what happens when he gets caught and goes to court try and tell the judge that

and what about the race car driver Peter Brock that was killed driving in the rally he was a professional and one of the best but accidents happen not only that how would he be able to stop in time if a child or adult walked in front of him i think you should have your licence taken of you or be taken to accidents where speed was involved

  7. We don't have Autobahns, they are called Freeways and our speed limits are 110klms. There is no where in Sydney that your son could drive at that speed without being arrested by the Police or cause a fatal accident.

  8. No chance... there is a push to get people using public transport these days instead of driving cars at all. The Government would never spend money on an Autobahn in populated areas like Sydney, they may run one from Bathurst to Dubbo or Broken Hill ... but nowhere near Sydney! People have trouble driving safely on the roads they already have.

  9. I think they're trying to reduce speeding in NSW not encourage it. I doubt your son will ever find it necessary to drive at 250km/hr, wherever he is.

Maybe you could try a defensive driving course instead? =)

  10. no chance
