Is it possible to have a bad eye day?

Like a bad hair day? My vision is really blurry today. If I try closing one eye, one is blurry and the other is fine. It doesn't feel as though anything is in there. This has happened on a couple of other days but not consecutive days. Should I just have them checked? I don't have insurance so I don't want to unless it really would be necessary.

i know its possible to have a bad leg day. my left leg totally went dead on me three days ago.

There can be many reasons for blurry vision but if the same eye keeps getting occasionally blurry, make yourself a favor and visit eye doctor. May be you finally noticed that one eye sees worth then other or may be there is underlying eye condition.

it is always good to have it checked out when something doesn't feel right or try some tear drops first to see if the problem clears.

Yes, it sounds necessary.  I would make an appointment soon.  There are many reasons you can be experiencing problems some of which can be serious.
