my house is very old, and ive tried every possible thing to speed up our supposed 3mbps (fastest possible at our exchange) broadband, its less than 100kbps right now. nothing has worked, so i have come to the conclusion that the house is just so old that wiring is f**ked and no matter which isp i am with it wont be any faster, soooo...

can you get broadband without wires? like mobile broadband from 3, orange, o2 etc but for multiple computers?

thanks

  1. Call your local cable company and ask if they offer high speed internet.

If they do sign up and buy a wireless router. Also purchase a wireless adapter for each computer.

  2. YES IT IS

  3. cable internet is avaiable in many areas

wireless internet is also aviable in many areas

if neither of these will work, there is also Sattelite, which works OK for browsing or downloading, but any 2-way like games don't work too well.
