Is it possible to have a doemesticated bat as a pet?

im just curious cause somebody made weasels and minks doemesticated.

but i still want to know if you can have a pet bat?

Bats are very shy and avoid human contact as much as possible.  Although is may be possible to tame a bat, I wouldn't recommend it.  In fact, keeping wild animals as pets is illegal in most places, for the safety and well-being of both animals and people.

That would be oh so cool but it would take a long time to breed bats to be domesticated, but id think flying foxes would be both cuter and easier to domesticate. What i really wanted was a pet hummingbird but that would be so high maintainance.

considering almost all dogs and cats and rodents most reptiles can be domesticated why not bats? lol but that would prob. take like over 10 years to domesticate it and train
