Is it possible to have a fit body and a fat face?

I hear that selective fat burning is a myth, so is it possible for a person to have a lean body, but still have excess fat in their face? Or will they most likely lose the fat in their face and slim it down by working out regularly?

  1. You're right, you can't spot lose fat, so it basically comes off of wherever it wants to. It's unlikely that you'll find a person in great shape whose face is fat, but it is possible that someone's face will retain fat more than the rest of their body and they'll have a chubby looking face. This is pretty unlikely though as most people's bodies hold onto fat around the midsection, which ends up being the hardest place to lose it from.

So what's most likely is that if you're overweight and your face is fat, lost weight will come off pretty evenly and your face will slim down along with your body.
