Is it possible to have a job in Mixed Martial Arts, such as K1 or UFC, if you were to drop out of high school?

It's not impossible, but look at all the questions here from guys who want to make it in the UFC.

That's your competition.

I'm willing to advance a guess that not one percent of those who set out to make a career of the UFC end up being able to make a decent living from it and eventually have to find a day job.

You may think you're the most talented fighter to hit the streets since they invented the wheel, but so do a lot of other guys.

So my advice is keep training if that's what you want to do, but stay in school.

If there is any job that you COULD get without an education, that would be it. You don't have to be smart to get your butt kicked and kick other peoples' butts.

Yes it is possible, if you are a good fighter.  You need to have the right attitude though, if you go there with the same attitude as you did at school you won't last a week.  However if you have learned from your mistakes and are willing to work hard then there is no reason we won't be seeing you on UFC 126 or something.

I'm pretty sure Nick Diaz is a high school dropout. So yes. But when you dropout all your time has to go to training like Nick did, Nick never stopped until he reach the top.
