  1. Jill St John.  Ring a bell?

There are over 7000 St James entries in the British phone listings.

  2. Not only could it work... but it has worked for most of the last millennia.  Other examples:

    St. Kitts

    St. Elmo

    St. Christopher

    St. Claire

    St. Patrick

    St. George

    St. Ledger

    St. Laurent

    St. Michael

    St. Peter

    St. Andres

    St. Amour

    and so on.

  3. There are a lot of people with the prefix St. as I listed for you in your previous question. It is often not  pronounced 'Saint'

when attached to a name, but more like 'Sin'- Sinjon

    Sinjon

    First name origin & meaning:

    French: Saint John

    OR

    Sinclair

    First name origin & meaning:

    French: Saint Clair

  6. The Mormons have more genealogy records than anyone. When I wonder about a name they are the first web site I check.
