Ok...I know this sounds weird but a couple months ago my cycle was like 40 days long and regularly it is only 30. So on like day 32 I started to take pregnancy tests. They were all negative but one. One test was positive. I continued to test , thinking I would get another positive to confirm my pregnancy but I never did. I eventually started my period on Day 40 of my cycle and it was a normal period, not overly heavy and I didn't have any unusually painful cramps...just normal menstral cramps. I guess I just want to know...Does it sound like I could have had a misscarage? Don't you normally have really bad cramping? I'm just sort of wondering....I never went to the doc since I ended up starting my period...and I had a regular 30 day cycle the next month...so hmmm? I don't know what do you guys think???

  1. Yes, it is possible. Many women have miscarriages and don't even know it because they mistake it for a regular period. It just happens and they only way people do find out is because of the pregnancy test that tell you that you're pregnant like 5 days before your missed period.

  2. Did you pass a big blood clot? If so maybe a miscarriage. You should talk to your doc. and see what happened. Sometimes our body changes and can get a later period or an early one. but don't mistake for "I miss carried"

  3. you could have mistaken it for a normal period. so yes, it is possible.

when you have an early miscarriage, the fetus comes out of you and it's so small that it can easily be mistaken as a blood clot. i know that sounds gross, but it's the truth. you could very well have had a miscarriage,  but the pregnancy test could have had a false positive, which happens occasionally.

  4. sounds like a chemical pregnancy it means you get a positive then you bleed the egg fertilizes but does not inplant hence the bleeding.

  5. it sounds like you could have had a chemical pregnancy.

  6. Sounds like it could have been, but don't get too upset about it. Because being upset will reduce your chances to fall pregnant again.

    Good luck!!!

  7. it's always possible.... unless u had it looked into at the time no one will ever really know....
