  1. Hi LiL MiSs,

    Just ignore all the answers.

Here are the steps in creating one yourself.

You can create your own moving wallpaper in photoshop and image ready. start with a new document ( size 1024 by 768 ) or any other resolution.

create a nice house with a tree and a blue gradient background. Now create clouds. These clouds have to shift from right to left so create as many layers as possible of clouds in various positions.

Jump to image ready set the timings and save as GIF.

Now select this from your desktop properties or simply right click and set as wallpaper.

  2. yes, i remember from when i had my xp o.o...... lol ^^ enjoy. Just search a animated image (gif)

  3. search gif animated pictures on google save a picture you like on your computer and put it as your background but often the pictures are really small.

  4. Yes.

But as far as I know, you need a third-party program for that.

Just do a Google search for "animated wallpaper" or "moving background".

  5. yes you can, but it does use up a lot of processor and memory for nothing. it will make your computer hella slow and may shorten the life of your computer from years to months because of the tremendous load.

you will need to create or download animated gif files, and set them as a desktop picture, this works but is not recommended.

another method would be to download a third party program that uses overlay to place the image on the desktop, they generally use less processor then GIF images set as the background.

i have used a free program called drempels desktop to do this it works well, it creates a morphed moving image on the desktop or as a screen saver from still images you put in a directory on your computer. i don't believe it works with gif images, only jpg, maybe bmp.

you can find that here http://www.geisswerks.com/drempels/

read down the site there are links to textures to add to it and a plugin for the media player called winamp, i recommend this program if you like things a little different then the normal windows stuff.

    good luck
