Is it possible to have a positive OPK at 12dpo (AF due in 2 days) but a BFN on 3 HPT's at this point?

The OPK has two dark lines and its an Answer Ovulation Tracker brand. I already ovulated 12 days ago with an OPK. So if I am pregnant why doesn't it show on the HPTs (First Response Early Result, Digitial ClearBlue and Answer). I know OPKs can detect HCG but I also heard that they are less sensitive..whats going on?

It could be a hormonal imbalance . . . OPKs can detect HCG but they are designed to also detect an LH surge . . . only a home pregnancy test detects only HCG.

I would wait a few days and test again if you do not get your period . . . if you do get your period, consider calling your doctor for blood work to check your hormones.
