Is it possible to have a seriously better relationship?

Ladies, if you and your man started out a little rough with him being a bit selfish in what he wants from you but then gradually over time really understands and puts you first instead of himself, is this a good sign to a solid relationship? Will this mentality stick with him?

thats complicated. its possible but it really depends on the guy.

If things are going good for you right now than I say stick it out and see how things progress. If you notice him slipping back into his old ways than it will be time to re-evaluate your situation. Until then enjoy the good times.
