  1. The Royal Caribbean cruise ships Brilliance of the Seas and Jewel of the Seas each have a regulation sized pool tables.  The tables are located in the entrance way to one of the lounges and are kept level by computer controls.

  2. I've played on a boat on the Nile. The balls were sometimes a bit random, but that didn't affect my playing so much as my lack of skill. Still more even than the lasat table I played on in London.

  3. Large ships like cruise liners have stablisers so it should be possible

  4. That actually a very good question !!!

Yes - I think that it is possible.  The table will have to have a very good giro that will keep the table in position though.

  5. why not?

  6. Yes,use velcro on the balls and table.

  7. Yes, as ships have stabilisers to stop them rocking from side to side.

  8. Well, in the crew mess of my cruise ship we have the next best thing - a polished table with coloured discs rather than balls, otherwise everything is the same

I would imagine only RCL would have them - they seem to be obsessed with putting innovative things on their ships (not that that is a bad thing)

  9. It would have to have a special levelling system wouldn't it or your balls would roll away.

  10. think about it when ship is at sea would the balls roll with the ship

  11. Certainly not on the cross channel ferry I went on last year, you could barely walk straight!!
