Is it possible to have more than one moderator on yahooGroups. If yes, how di I do that?

Sign in to your group and click on Members.  

Locate the member that you want to assign as moderator.

Click Edit Membership located underneath members name.  

Click Change to Moderator.

Click Make Moderator.

Click on Save Changes.

This will give that person the basic moderator privileges.  I recommend waiting until this person shows that he/she can make wise choices in dealing with group problems before assigning more privileges.

Log into your group, from the list on the left hand side, choose Members.

Choose Edit Membership for the member in question-you may have to search for the right user name.

Scroll down to Membership Privelages & click Change to Moderator. Choose the things you wish to allow that person to do, then click on the button that says Make Moderator. And there ya go!

Yes, you can have additional moderators.  The group can have up to 15.

What you do first is to ask the people you have in mind to be moderators if they are interested in becoming moderators.  If they say yes, then you go to their membership information in the "Member" list and click "Edit Membership" and it will have information asking if you want to change them to a "Moderator".  Click on that option.

When that screen opens up it will show you all the choices you can have them get privileges to as well as the notices that lets them know when people join or leave the list.

After making the choices then click "Save" and shortly thereafter the others will get an e-mail alert from Yahoo Groups saying that their membership status has been changed to be a moderator for the group.
