I was on Loestrin 24 fe for a week and 3 days I began it on August 10th and on the 14th and 15th I took the pill two hours late, and on the 17th I took the pill 4 and 1/2 hours late. After the 19th I quite taking the pill all together. I know that since I took the pills incorrectly there's a chance I could have ovulated, but when two days later (the 22nd) I began withdrawal bleeding, I figured that I did not ovulate and therefore posed no risk of being pregnant. The withdrawal bleeding only lasted until about halfway through the day on the 24th (lasted 2 1/2 days). There was no bleeding or anything unusual on the 25th, but then yesterday (the 26th) I began getting this very light brown spotting but hardly any, than later in the evening it was a very light red more pink, hardly any blood. It sounds exactly like implantation bleeding wich can occur anywhere from 6-11 days after ovulation (my last day on BC was the 19 so 7 days later is the 26th). I've looked all over the internet for an answer or a similar incident and can't find one. if this is implantation bleeding and i am pregnant it's not a worry for me, i'm married and we want kids. My hausband and I are going on vacation and I just turned 21 and was planning on having a few drinks (not a lot), but if there's any chance that I could be pregnant I really don't want to drink. PS it's too early for a test.

  1. simple answer: don't drink alcohol on your trip.

I doubt you're pregnant, but it's possible that you are.  Just don't drink to be safe.

When the right amount of time has passed, take the tests.

  2. Birth Control does some weird things to our bodies. Your body may be adjusting to being off the pill, wait until your next missed period and test. Good luck =]

  3. It sounds like to me that your body is very confused. One minute you are taking BC and the next you are not. So the bleeding and then bleeding again is (in my book) normal body confusion. The pill is suppose to control your body's estrogen levels and keep you from ovulating, but where you just started taking them on the 10th you could have had a chance of getting pregnant. You body would not have had enough time to "take direction" from the pill therefore you could have ovulated and could be pregnant. Have a good time on your trip whatever happens!!!
