Is it possible to hear?

Hey all! :D

I am 30 weeks pregnant today...if i got a stethoscope, would I be able to hear the heartbeat of my baby?

You probably should, i think that 20+ weeks and you can hear it a little, 30 weeks and it will be quite clear...

i never could, i even got one of these heartbeat listening things, still can't hear a thing :D

I always wondered the same thing, but from what I hear no you would have to get a doppler ultrasound

not as a non-professional with a stethoscope, no. But you could with a Doppler.

i was taking a EMT class and they said yes u can but it has to be a very good kind of stethoscope and i actually have one since i was taking emt classes lol but i havent tried anyways yea u should be able to do that if its one like the docts
