Is it possible to hook up a SD memory card to a TV?

I was wondering if there was an adapter i could buy that would allow me to watch movies that are on my card on the TV?

There is a SD card adapter that plugs into an USB port. Don't know if it'll work for your TV or not. It's sold where memory cards are sold for about 10 bucks. It as a little door that flips open. It's packaged in the open position to demonstrate that.
