Is it possible to hybridaze plants at home ?

i am a fairly good gardener and would like make hybrids at home is it possible?? show me books,dvds,websites with information about hybridazing. ok thanks

  2. You'll have more success if you type in "hybridize" and "hybridizing" -- currently, you've spelled them incorrectly.

    People also do roses, orchids and I'm sure many others. I'd decide on one or two kinds of plants you have had success in growing in your garden, then popping over to the nearest library (remember those?) to find some books.

    Or you could just start experimenting. The standard practice is to prevent flowers from self-pollinating by bagging or cutting off stamens, and then using a paintbrush to transfer pollen from the desired sire plant.
