Is it possible to ice skate daily rather then carry on with further education?

i'd like to have a career in ice skating.

are there any ice skating schools in the uk?

  1. Yes you can there privet boarding schools or such. You still have regular classes. Most of the schedules that i have seen are

    5:30-8:00am Training for figure skating.

    9:00am-1:00pm Classes.

    2:00-9:00pm is More training.

    I only know of them in the united states, sorry.

    but make sure you know what your doing before you do this its lots of hard work, and dedication.  


  2. im going to collage but i really want to skate instead. I have also looked for skating school as im in the uk but i can't really find any :(

  3. You'll have to do some research about the skating schools but I bet there is one.

    Some skaters are home schooled (especially the elite) so they can go to the rink when ever they want but others go to schools that have a special flexible program that allows you to do sports, acting, etc without the pressure of having to get home work done on time.

    Do some research and thinking about it but it is possible to carry on with an education and skate you don't have to quit school altogether there are some elite skaters (Alissa Czisny  for example) that even go to university and carry out a full skating schedule.
