Is it possible to kill a bear with bare hands?

No, but you could probably do it with "bear hands".

Yes, if you're strong enough. You can get them around the neck and twist, breaking the neck.

The only other way I can think of is to shove your arm down the throat far enough it suffocates the bear. You might lose your arm though.

it would probably be physically possible to choke a bear to death or something, but it would be so difficult that it has to be highly improbable.

Depends. I doubt anyone could strangle an adult male brown (Grizzly) bear, but it would be rather easy to kill a young cub.

I hope you aren't trying to use this for a unpractical reason!

The only person to have ever done this is Chuck Norris. He can kill anything with his bare hands.

It is possible but only if you have enormous strength, stamina, speed and technique to kill. But you won't escape injuries even with all these skills.

Every animal has a weak point so my guess is hitting hard on the nose, damaging it's ears, gripping it's neck from behind or hitting it on its organ, blinding it's eyes with dust etc. etc.
