Is it possible to kill some "useless" animals to decrease the rate of global warmin? (Just theoretically)

O.K. I know animals don't have that big of an effect on global warming but theoretically they increase the entropy so if we kill them the entropy will not increase as much. Say we kill most of the sharks; it will cause in a fast grow of whatever fish that shark eats then we can increase the number of (those) fishes that we catch per say year and thus the equilibrium is not going to be affected plus we will have more food. just to emphasize again I only mean theoretically I know it is not going to effect it that much anyway even if we kill all the animals. Plus I love animals even if I don't seem to like the.

  1. The plans are already laid but, its for the human animal.

  2. KILL the CARS!

  3. If you want to kill something that will help the environment the species to look at is Homo Sapiens, since all the other species long ago learned to live in harmony with the environment.

  4. I can think of some people who might fit the bill. But seriously, every time we meddle, we s***w up the ecosystem. I'm pretty darn sure this is one of those cases.

  5. good one from gwens18a... I actually suggested something similar recently about eating people but I got reported and it was deleted...

KIlling animals? even the useless ones like donkeys? I mean really name one famous donkey? (apart from bullseye in toy story, oh yeah, and the one from Tijuana) but apart from those two, name one famous donkey. Would we really miss them?........You know we probably would....

  6. Sharks are poor choice for an example as many types are already seriously in decline like the white pointer and the Grey Nurse shark of Australia which are near to being on the endangered list.

We hunt sharks for sport & food as well as significantly reducing their food supply 'fish' for our own use.

Only one animal has grown in numbers to 6.6 billion and set to increase to ~9 billion by 2050, reducing it's numbers to ~1 billion would certainly affect and reduce global warming.

  7. if we kill animals and they will die the evironment will not be balanced and we will also suffer for example milk snakes kill rats what if milk snakes be extinct and the rats will spread plague or black death and kill millions of people.

  8. The only useless animals are people.

  9. Entropy has nothing to do with it. Heat from entropy refers to (for example) you feeling warm when you work out, and no matter how many people you get to sweat and burn and the same time, the rate of global warming will not increase. Global warming is mostly the work of humans and our pollution and contribution to the green houses gases.

So no, that wouldn't work, unless you wanted to go back in time and kill all of the humans who left a carbon foot print by doing things such as driving a car or working in/running a factory, in which case almost none of us would be here to argue over it.

    =]

  10. I can only think of one useless animal I'd like to kill off....stupid humans.

  11. I think we should all target whales, they are so big and compeltely useless they just swim around eating plankton

Go Japenese Fishermen Go and save the Planet from Global Warming

  12. I would say the best category would be murderers , rapists, criminals of worst kind. the world does not need them and we are better off without such people.

  13. Survival of the fittest, buddy. Don't concern yourself with what animals we should kill off, mother nature will work it out. Trust me. :P

  14. More fish will mean more resource consumption and excrement., so not a decrease of rate of global warming.

  15. How about the polar bears, then we don't have to hear the winning about their ice.

  16. If you want to kill "useless" animals for that useless fantasy . . . well, it's your choice.  God Bless you.

  17. These, but it would be illegal
