I used to think so - now I am not too sure.   Actually I agree with the answer above me.    I think there are absolute truths but often hidden or disguised by the powers that be as I believe we are all manipulated one way or the other to suit someones purpose.    I never accept things at face value anymore - I check the facts, trust my instincts and make my own decisions about things.

I think that people should delete from their vocabulary words such as never, absolute, always, everything, never. There is always more to understand and more to find out even about your everyday phenomenon. Let's be humble and admit that the more knowledge you have, the more you understand you are lacking knowledge

Yes, we live in a world that is moving into the "post-modern" view. That there are no absolutes. (This is a self canceling statement)  There is no truth (really, is that true)..

This is not correct. There is an absolute truth, I don't think that we can know all about that truth, but it does exist.

You will find in this world though that no matter which topic you choose you will find tons of "scientific" evidence on one side and tons on the opposite side. This is not because the truth is not there; it is only because our minds will bend the interpretations to suit our world views.

I used to be an evolutionist. I was raised that way.

Now I am a believer in Creation and Jesus Christ.

Too totaly opposite sides to one of lifes questions. The best thing to do is to find all the evidence that you can. Be carefull because this world is ran by "the powers that be" so there will be billions of dollars funding evidence that supports the truth they want to believe. Realize the power of propaganda, and search with an open mind. Jesus said if we search for Him, He will answer us.
