  1. Age is never a barrier to learning.  If you are determined enough, then you can achieve practically anything that your heart desires.

  2. Of course you can learn! If you are determined you can pretty much do anything! Just look online for centres near where you live that help you study subjects (evening classes?)

Don't worry I'm sure in a year you will be speaking spanish as if it was english!!

    Good luck :-)

  3. Practice the things u already know in spanish. Then once you mastered that u can go on.

  4. Claro que si, but you would have an accent. Take some more courses, good luck!=)

  5. Yes, one of my spanish teachers was 45 when he started and now speaks fluently after 7 years. It's fun and quite helpful.

  6. Get a job working in a restaurant in CA. worked for me!

  7. Yes, and you would have a leg up since you are familiar with it. You really have to immerse yourself in the language. As you learn the language in classes or using cds you really need to take every opportunity you can to speak Spanish. You will be surprised at how many Spanish speakers will appreciate this, especially the elderly (who I have found have little to no desire to learn English).

    Best to you!

  8. Try talking to people who speak spanish fluently. It will help with speach.

    This website really helped me.

    Try it.

  9. Llevas una clase. age doesn't matter I had like a 70 year old man in my spanish class.

  10. Yes, you can learn to speak fluently, but it will require a method combining lessons, multimedia materials, conversation, and a trip to a Spanish speaking country. I suggest you hire a tutor, but make sure this tutor knows Spanish grammar and s/he is a Spanish native speaker. Many native speakers think they can teach their language just becuase they can speak it, and this is not the case. You will also need to stick to it...you will not learn a language in a few weeks, it may take a year or two depending on your learning style and frequency. Contact me if you live in the DC area. I have been teaching Spanish for over 10 years.

    Good luck!
